New Kid on The Block

Its always exiting when a new craft company appears on the scene. The Crafty Witches are such a company. A fantastic new company featuring the lovely Lynda Chapman. The Crafty Witches produce a selection of reasonably priced and beautifully designed digital Craft downloads. As a lover of digital crafts I was keen to see what they have to offer. Halloween is my favorite time of year so of course I had to have this lovely Halloween mini kit. The kit contains toppers, sentiments, backing papers and inserts for the very reasonable price of £4.99. There is also a special offer on the website at the minute of this beautiful Hocus Pocus Kit for 1p. Yes you read that correctly 1p. If you want it you better grab it because I don't know how long it will be available at that price. The kits are as you would expect of a very high standard with beautiful graphics. The website was very easy to get around, and once my order had gone through my items were available to download straight away. I

The Oriental Flower Garden Digital Collection

The first Digital Collection to go live on my website is The Oriental Flower Garden. I made this pretty 8x8in pyramage card using the collection. It was quite a simple card to make but as you can see it's a very effective card that is suitable for many occasions. If you would like to see how I made this card you can see a video tutorial here  tutorial You can purchase the kit used here  The Digital Craft Store Until Next Time Happy Crafting

Gothic Address Book

My job roll is begining to change at work. I have more responsibilities now, and may have even more soon. I have a list of work related contacts now and am in need of somewhere to write them all down that I can pop in my bag and have handy all of the time. I bought this plain address book from amazon. Serves the purpose but its a bit boring. I decided it needed a bit of love and attention. I had a root in my stash box and found this matching topper and paper. They are from the Debbi Moore collection Twighlight Queen. They are left over from a Memory Book I made a couple of years ago. The backing paper was already cut to the perfect size so I just glued it in place on the front of the book. Next I cut the topper out. It was quite an easy one to cut out, no difficult and fiddley bits, which I hate. Finally I stuck the topper onto the front of the book as well. So from a boring plain address book I now have a much prettier book. I hope you like it. Until Next Time Happy Crafting.
