Poundland Haul.

    I do quite a bit of craft shopping in Poundland. You can get some exellent bargains. They get a lot of end of line products from big companies. Today I had yo go into Newcastle to go to the bank  so of course I had to pay Poundland a visit.

This is my haul for today. I am trying to reorganise my craftroom as I just don't seem to have room to put everything. I got a couple of small baskets and some hooks to hang them on the wall.
Those odd grey things are collapsable funnels. They were 2 for £1 and they will be very usefull in my craftroom.
I recently purchased some spray bottles from Aliexpress which were very reasonably priced. Today i bought a travel cosmetic set for £1. It has 2 spray bottles in it which are only small but big enough for alcohol ink sprays, 2 other bottles which I plan to use for glue, and several little pots that I'm sure I can find a use for. I also got a cosmetic stand which is perfect to put them in.

This was my favorite purchase. Metallic acrylic paint. Good sized tubes and I cant wait to see what they are like. They only had 4 colours so I will have to keep checking to see if they get any different ones. All in all I am drlighted with my little haul today.

Christmas Wreath Decoration.

I made this Wreath using files from a Carnation crafts Christmas usb. It was really easy to make. It comes with all of the mats and layers you need as well as all of the decoupage. There are 3 mat layers. I cut two base layers in black, a middle layer in gold and the top layer in black. I cut two base layers because I have put a ribbon loop at the top so you can hang the finished Wreath up. I simply held the ribbon in place with a piece of tape and then sandwiched it between the two black base layers. Then I added the gold layer and finally the black top layer. Next was the decoupage. I printed the decoupage onto 128gsm Navigator paper. This is my go to paper. The print quality is exellent. I get mine in bulk from amazon but if you have a Wilko nearby they sell it as well. I glued the base layer in place flat. Then I added the decoupage pieces using silicone glue. I shaped the pieces to give a better effect by just gently moulding the pieces with my fingers. New Products

I have some new products I will be adding to my website this week. First up I have this beautiful metallic water colour set. 12 different colours with a fine brush and a Japanese Water Brush. These paints have a beautiful shimmering finish. This little mini album kit is great to pop into your handbag. Watch out as I am going to make a video showing how I decorated this album.
