Work in Progress

These papers are from Debbi Moore's collection Peacock Parade. These are from the usb version and have printed beautifully. Call back in a few days to see what I made with them.

Days Gone By

This picture is a blast from the  past. It was taken a few years back at The Bram Stoker International Film Festival in Whitby. It was way back in 2011 and one of the best fairs I have ever done. It wasn't strictly a craft fair because there was everything you could imagine for sale. Im very pleased to say I was the only person selling handmade cards, so had one of my best selling days ever. I would love to get back again sometime. Maybe when life starts to get back to normal I will get the chance.

Update

I just wanted to give you a quick update of my world at the minute.      Three weeks ago I was called into work at short notice and have been working full time since then.      Last year due to my mothers ill health I took the decision to become a Bank Nurse. This means I dont have any contracted hours and just work when I am needed. It worked out pretty well until covid happened. Operating Theatre nursing is a specialised area, and off course not much going on due to covid19. My registration does not allow me to work in an area I am not trained to work in, so I cant work on a ward without some kind of further training.     I have now been trained in the correct fitting of PPE for NHS Staff. Things are begining to build up again so I have been pretty busy fitting new PPE and it looks like I will be for a while.     Not much crafting going on at the minute, but normal crafting will resume as soon as possible. In the meantime we will be back to normal at some point, so stay safe and

Christmas Cobwebs Collection by Magik Graphics- November 2020

Magic graphics have released a limited edition craft box named The Christmas Cobweb Collection. Once again it a delight. I love every item in it. My mind is buzzing with things I can make. The CDrom in the box this time is "Im Dreaming of a Screaming White Christmas". It has some fab designs on it and I have decided I am going to have a go at putting some of them onto fabric.     I will share anything I make here and on my YouTube channel.

USB for The Scan and Cut.

Today I have taken out a subscription for the new digital Tatteted Lace Magazine. Im really looking forward to my first edition.      Mel and Stephanie mentioned usb's that are compatible with the scan and cut, they even had one on offer for £5.99. So is it just me or does that seem like a ridiculously high price tag?. Fear not I have an alternative. When I first bought my scan and cut i was amazed at the price being charged for compatible usb's. Oddly i can confirm that not all usb's work with the machine. I have no idea why as to me a usb is a usb, but it is true as I do have usb's that don't work with my machine. I decided to look for a cheaper alternative. I found this set of 10 usb's on amazon for £15.80. Now you may think that is a lot, but think about it there are 10 usb's here. Im also delighted to say they work perfectly with the scan and cut. I have bought quite a few now and have my svg files stored quite safely on them. Each one of these usb&
