USB for The Scan and Cut.

Today I have taken out a subscription for the new digital Tatteted Lace Magazine. Im really looking forward to my first edition.
Mel and Stephanie mentioned usb's that are compatible with the scan and cut, they even had one on offer for £5.99. So is it just me or does that seem like a ridiculously high price tag?. Fear not I have an alternative.

When I first bought my scan and cut i was amazed at the price being charged for compatible usb's. Oddly i can confirm that not all usb's work with the machine. I have no idea why as to me a usb is a usb, but it is true as I do have usb's that don't work with my machine.
I decided to look for a cheaper alternative.

I found this set of 10 usb's on amazon for £15.80. Now you may think that is a lot, but think about it there are 10 usb's here. Im also delighted to say they work perfectly with the scan and cut. I have bought quite a few now and have my svg files stored quite safely on them.

Each one of these usb's has svg files on it. I have categorised them all and labeled them so I can find what I am looking for easily. I hate to see people spending unnecessary money. So if you have a scan and cut give them a go.

Celticmoon Crafts

I started Celticmoon Crafts quite a few years ago now. As a passionate crafter I wanted to share my ideas with others, so I started to design my own craft sheets.         This is one of my favorite design sheets. I love anything Oriental.       I produced 20 card making CDroms, covering a range of subjects. This was one of my first CDroms. I love digital crafting. Its much more economical than buying ready printed sheets. If you run put just print another sheets. Of course I have been known to run put of ink before which isn't always good.       I made this card using one of my own designs. Anubis is my favorite Egyptian God. He gets a lot of undeserved bad publicity in my opinion.     I've done a lot of craft fairs in the past.  Sometimes they are very very good and sometimes very very bad. I have been to craft fairs where I have sold loads, and I have been to ...

The Great Pumpkin is on The Way

Like many people I am a great fan of the Peanuts Cartoon Strip, and in particular the ever lovable dog Snoopy. What would the Pesnuts Gang be without him?. Anyone who follows the adventures of the Peanuts Gang will know its almost time for The Great Pumpkin. According to Linus he comes every year delivering toys and gifts to the good boys and girls who sit in the pumpkin patch on Halloween waiting for him to arrive. Of course he eaits every year  usually with Snoopy and The Great Pumpkin never arrives, but he never looses faith  and every year he is back thete waiting.     Halloween is still two months away, but of course we crafters have to get ready for it on lots of time. I am working on things for a craft fair  but I am also trying to get things made to go into my etsy shop. You can check out my shop here  Celticmoon Crafts Shop     These cute little treat bags are going in thos week. They will be £1.50 each and come ...

Health Scare

I have been notably absent over the past couple of weeks. The reason is I have had a health Scare. I returned from the MPC Gala in Edinburgh at the begining of May and developed a niggly pain in my right foot. I thought I had overdone it a bit at the Gala so didn't take much notice. However the pain got worse and eventually I had to go and see my Doctor. She thought I may have  a stress fracture and sent me for an X Ray to check. My X Ray showed a lesion on my toe joint that could not be identified. I was immediately referred to an Orthopaedic Oncologist. Then followed the worst two weeks of my life. As a nurse all of the worst case scenario's went through my head. Sometimes a little bit of k owledge is a bad thing. If I slept for 3 hours a night I was lucky. It was just hell. On Friday I finally went for my appointment. I am hugely relieved to say the specialist is certain the lesion is benign. I have to go for an MRI scan but he has no concerns. I do have a fracture which is ...
