Day 30

Well that's it 30 different projects in 30 days, and today is project number 30. This card is very simple but I think very effective. Its a good card for the men in your life.  I used an A5 dark blue card blank as a base. The main image is a public domain image which I resized on my computer. I matted it onto some gold mirri card. I matted a piece of matting ribbon onto another piece of gold card. Finally I added a sentiment to finish it off. I used Dark blue A5 card blank. Public domain image Design software. Gold mirri board Matching ribbon Sentiment Adhesive of choice. So that's all 30 projects done. I hope you enjoyed them, and maybe they will inspire you on your crafty journey.

I used A5 white card blank Decorative paper Matching topper Gold mirri board. Adhesive of choice.

Day 27

My dad passed away in 1997. I still miss him. My daughter Louise says she can remember him being here but that is all. My son Afam can't remember him at all. This is so sad because they wete the apples of his eye. He loved them so much. I have been planning to make a memory book about my dad for a while now but I have just made a start on it. I don't want anybody to forget my dad, and I am looking forward to filling this album with wonderful memories. The cover is a greyboard base covered with papers from the Card Hut cdrom All about the men. The car image is also from this cdrom. The sentiment was cut on my scan and cut using one of the Creative Crafting World cutting file usb's. I used Greyboard sheets Navigator paper The Card Hut All About the Men cdrom  Creative Crafting World cutting file usb Adhesive of choice.

You can cut them all in one colour or as I did in three different colours. I used Butterfly greeting card cutting file Coloured card Adhesive of choice.

Day 25

This card is very close to my heart. We have a touring caravan and have travelled all over the country in it. Its a great way to holiday and our dog Star loves it. This cute little card was made using my scan and cut. The different colours are cut and then layered up to give the impressive card. I used Card in several different colours Caravan cutting file Adhesive of choice.

Day 24

Keeping with the Christmas theme here is a wall hanging I have made. I usedxa large embroidery hoop as a base. Day 21

A little bit of my gothyness today. This Raven Skull is cast from clear resin. It doesn't have to be clear as I painted it. I used an antique white acylic paint. This gives a more authentic look. Then I rubbed some graphite Viva Decor Wax over it. I gently removed most of the wax with a damp make up sponge. This leaves wax in the cracks in the skull to give it a very antique finish. I used Resin Raven Skull Mould Antique white acylic paint Graphite Viva Decor Wax.

Day 20

A few months back I applied to be a vendor at The Gothic Bazarr but unfortunately they had no spaces so I had to go on a waiting list. Today I was contacted to say a vendor had pulled out and did I want to take her slot. Off course I said yes. I had a bit of avrush about deciding what I was going to sell in the market. I'm glad I decided on this gift bag because I sold 5 of them. I printed the papers from Debbi Moores Rose's cdrom. I think the black roses are beautiful. I finished the bag off a black lace fastening. I Used Debbi Moore's cdrom Roses 🌹 120gsm Navigator Paper Black lace or ribbon. Strong double sided sticky tape.

Day 19

Today's card can be used for a couple of occasions. It could be used for Easter or as a sympathy card. Nobody likes having to make sympathy cards, but sadly at some point we all have to. I used one of my Hunkydory usb keys. I have them all and think they are amazing value. I wish they would bring out some more. The pretty cross image is 3D decoupage. I feel you could just reach over and smell the flowers as they look very realistic. I Used 8x8in white card blank Hunkydory usb key Navigator paper.

Day 18

I've made another notebook today. I have decorated the cover with an image from The Magik Graphics cdrom Spellbound. I bought some plain black paper from Amazon especially for my books and albums. This is the first time I have used it and I am very pleased with the result. The pages are printed from a digital download I bought from etsy. I still don't think my notebook is perfect, but its getting better. I'm going to have a huge stash of notebooks I have been practicing with. It is my plan to give them as gifts when I feel they are good enough. I used Cereal box card for the cover Plain black paper Navigator Paper Magik Graphics cdrom Spellbound Digital download book pages.

Day 17

I made this card for my mother's birthday. She was 84. Lilac is her favorite colour.  I made this card using the Vintage Moments usb by Kanban Crafts. The card is 8x8ins. I printed a plain paper as a base mat, and a distressed paper as the second mat. I printed a sheet of toppers and chose 3 which were also matted onto the plain paper. I then mounted the toppers onto the card using foam tape to give a bit of dimension. I used 8x8ins card blank Kanban Crafts usb Vintage Moments 120gsm Navigator paper Double sided foam tape Adhesive of choice.

Day 16

I've started work on a new Memory Book The Theme is Ice Witch. The name of the paper collection has slipped my mind, but it is by Vectoria Designs. They have some fantastic digital paper packs and you can find them over on etsy. The album isn't quite finished, but it shouldn't be long.

Day 15

Today I have had a go at something different. I cast this cog from clear resin. It came out very well, but of course cogs are not clear. I looked around for tutorials that were easy enough yo try. First ofxall I painted the cog with brown acrylic paint. Next I randomly dabbed on some brown paint, and finally I dabbed on some orange paint. I need tonpointbout I did not let the paint dry between layers. If it runs a little it will look better. Once the paint is dry, I hope you like the effect. I do.

Today's make is a great one for book lovers. I made these lovely bookmarks. They are printed from the Magik Graphics cdrom Spellbound. I used 250gsm white card 130gsm Navigator Paper Magik Graphics Spellbound cdrom

Day 12

Today's make is a little bit diffetent. This pretty wall hanging is made of three separate plaques with the words Magical, Enchanted , and Blessings. Day 9

Now for my actual post for today. This is another piece for the Truely Magical Market. This little box is 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall. Believe it or not it is made from a cut up delivery box. I cut the pieces for the box and joined them when I covered them with the paper, which is from a digital collection by Vectoria Designs. I think k it's called Crystal Magic. It's not quite finished but I'm happy with the progress I have made. I used Cardboard Delivery Box. Decorative Paper Adhesive of choice. Hook and Loop to fasten the box.

Day 8

I'm  sorry I'm late posting this, but I just didn't have time yesterday, so I'll make 2 posts today to make up for it. I bought this usb from Imagination Crafts about a month ago. As I am fairly new to mixed media I have to say I find stencils rather expensive, so I thought it would be good if I could do my own. I decided on a texture stencil first that I could use in any number of projects. It is quite difficult to see but I have resized and put four different textures on here. There is a little bit of space left, so I will get a couple of more things onto it. I cut the stencil with my scan and cut Onto an A4 sheet of doeflex. I got 60 sheets of doeflex from ebay for just over £20. The good thing about doeflex is ypu can use it as an embossing folder as well because it is a little bit thicker than mylar.

Day 7

At the end of June I am taking place in the Truely Magical Market over on Facebook. The theme of the Market is Myth and Magic of course. I have made this card for the market. I made it using a design set from the My Craft Studio CDrom Celestial Haven. Day 6

Every year I plan to get ahead with my Christmas cardmaking, and every year I fail and end up making my Christmas cards at the last minute. This year I have made an early start with this card. I have used a white base card and a set of Paper Boutique Christmas cutting dies. I cut the snowflake in white card and the mat in black. I used a Christmas sentiment in the middle and finished it off with red faux gems. I used 6 inch square white base card Paper Boutique Christmas Cutting Die Set White card Black card Red faux gems.

Day 5

I've done a little tutorial for today. For new crafters it's a back to basics 3D decoupage tutorial. I'm going to show ypu how to make this flower embellishment. You can apply this technique to any 3D decoupage image. First of all you need to choose the decoupage image you are going to use. This is a digital sheet I have printed at home. There were originally two images on rhis sheet and as you can see I have already used one. Cut out all of the pieces from your decoupage sheet. You are going to start with the biggest image first. To give the image depth gently shape the image. You can shape it with something like your ruler, but honestly most of the time I just shape it with my hands. Now take the next smallest image and shape it in the same way. Turn this piece over and add adhesive. Make sure you add plenty of adhesive because you don't want it to sag in the middle. I have used 3D glue gel but you can use foam pads if you prefer. Turn the image over and carefully pla

Day 4

I have recently started a Mixed Media journey. So far I am loving it. I made tbis picture with aot of tbings I already had in my stash. I just used a piece of greyboard for a base. It was actually the back of a document envope that I recycled. I've to recycle as much as I can. The blue paint is simply a sample pot of paint I had, and everything else was cut on my scan and cut. You could of course use cutting dies if you don't have a cutting machine. I used Recycled Greyboard  Matchbox of paint Black card Gold card Pink card Colored Waxes Die cut embellishments

Day Three

Today we have a lovely floral card. In the past I did some craft designs of my own. This card is made using my own designs on the CDrom The Oriental Flower Garden. The card is 8x8ins and the background is a fade out paper. The topper is a pretty floral pyramage, and it is finished with a sentiment a faux gems. I used 8x8ins black card blank The Oriental Flower Garden by Celticmoon Crafts Sentiment Faux Gems Adhesive of choice.

Day Two

At school everyone has a best friend and mine was called Rose. We started school together and after that were stuck like glue to each other. Rose's dad was a policeman and they lived in police accomodation. When we were 17 the police houses were sold and Rose and her family had to move away to another area. Sadly we lost touch. In 2016 thanks to the wonders of Social Media Rose sent me a message and we arranged to meet up for coffee. It soon became a regular thing and it really felt like we had never been apart. We did a lot of catching up. In late 2016 Rose was sadly found to have blood cancer. Even worse it was a type that had no cure. She fought every step of the way, but sadly lost rhe fight in 2017, only a year after we first met up again. This scrapbook page is about Rose. It is the first page in a scrapbook documenting my jpurny with My Peak Challenge. That is because one of the charities supported by MPC is Blood Cancer UK. I like to think she is happy with what I have done

Day One

For the first of my June Projects I have a set of notelets and a box for them I have used the Viva La Diva CDrom by Joanna Sheen to make this set. It has lots of fun retro style images on it. The box is made from plain white card, and decorated with an image from the CD, and finished with patterned papers on the sides of the box. The notelets were also printed fron the CDrom and simply folded to finish. Each notelets has a matching envelope printed and glued to form the envelope. I USED Dalton Manor White card Viva La Diva CDrom by Joanna Sheen Glue
