Making Videos

As you know I am busy getting content onto my YouTube Channel. I have made several videos over the last couple of weeks.

I am not 100% comfortable with talking on videos. I am very aware of my very Geordie accent. I also get very nervous and feel like I am stumbling over my words, or in some places I feel there are awkward silences.

I have tried making videos with no commentary in them, but they aren't right either.

I am hoping I have found the solution to my problem.



I have discovered this handy little app. It has enabled me to edit photos together and add text instructions to the pictures. I have been playing with it over the past couple of days, and so far I am impressed. I shall be adding videos made with this app soon.

The Great Pumpkin is on The Way

    Like many people I am a great fan of the Peanuts Cartoon Strip, and in particular the ever lovable dog Snoopy. What would the Pesnuts Gang be without him?. Anyone who follows the adventures of the Peanuts Gang will know its almost time for The Great Pumpkin. According to Linus he comes every year delivering toys and gifts to the good boys and girls who sit in the pumpkin patch on Halloween waiting for him to arrive. Of course he eaits every year  usually with Snoopy and The Great Pumpkin never arrives, but he never looses faith  and every year he is back thete waiting.     Halloween is still two months away, but of course we crafters have to get ready for it on lots of time. Health Scare

I have been notably absent over the past couple of weeks. The reason is I have had a health Scare. I returned from the MPC Gala in Edinburgh at the begining of May and developed a niggly pain in my right foot. I thought I had overdone it a bit at the Gala so didn't take much notice. However the pain got worse and eventually I had to go and see my Doctor. She thought I may have  a stress fracture and sent me for an X Ray to check. My X Ray showed a lesion on my toe joint that could not be identified. I was immediately referred to an Orthopaedic Oncologist. Then followed the worst two weeks of my life. As a nurse all of the worst case scenario's went through my head. Sometimes a little bit of k owledge is a bad thing. If I slept for 3 hours a night I was lucky. It was just hell. On Friday I finally went for my appointment. I am hugely relieved to say the specialist is certain the lesion is benign. I have to go for an MRI scan but he has no concerns.
