Electronic Die Cutting Machines

If you're a creative person, chances are you've wanted to create something with your hands. Whether it's making a costume for a play, knitting an afghan for your best friend, or designing your own greeting card (and then mailing it), there's no better feeling than putting something tangible into the world that you made yourself.

But what if you had all the tools and materials at your disposal? What if there was a machine that could do the work of actually creating the craft? And what if that machine could make it easier?

Electronic die cutting machines are just such machines. They can cut out any shape of paper without any specialized equipment needed at all. The only things you need is glue and scissors!

It's no secret I am a huge fan of the Brother Scan and Cut. I use mine almost everyday. There are many different machines on the market such as Cricut machines, or Silhouette machines. I'm sure there are more and there will be a model for everyone.

The best part is that electronic die cutting machines are relatively easy to use and let you get started on making crafts right away—you don't need any experience or special skills!

Here are a few ideas for projects you can try:

Box Frames

I'm sure you can think of lots more. Let's just say I think no craftroom should be without one.

Until Next Time

Happy Crafting.

Ebay Finds

Like many other crafters i like a bargain. I don't always have a huge amount of money to buy supplies  so it id always good when I can find a bargain. I am a huge fan of digital crafting as I find it much more economical than buying ready printed products. I have a huge collection of craft cdroms and usbs. I have started checking out ebay for digital bargains and have found quite a few recently. I got this for £5 and it was worth every penny. The papers on it are beautiful. I am presently making a V8ntage Christmas Memory Book using this cdrom. I am a great fan of Joanna Sheen. This triple cdrom was also £5. I have lots of plans for this one. I am a great fan of anything Oriental. Joanna Sheen again. It suddenly struck me that I dont have anything with a baby theme. What would I do if someone asked me for a baby card, or a baby book. So of course I took to ebay again. Now if someone asks me gor something for a new arrival I am ready. Crafters Companion brought out this cdrom a few ...

Celticmoon Crafts

I started Celticmoon Crafts quite a few years ago now. As a passionate crafter I wanted to share my ideas with others, so I started to design my own craft sheets.         This is one of my favorite design sheets. I love anything Oriental.       I produced 20 card making CDroms, covering a range of subjects. This was one of my first CDroms. I love digital crafting. Its much more economical than buying ready printed sheets. If you run put just print another sheets. Of course I have been known to run put of ink before which isn't always good.       I made this card using one of my own designs. Anubis is my favorite Egyptian God. He gets a lot of undeserved bad publicity in my opinion.     I've done a lot of craft fairs in the past.  Sometimes they are very very good and sometimes very very bad. I have been to craft fairs where I have sold loads, and I have been to ...

Health Scare

I have been notably absent over the past couple of weeks. The reason is I have had a health Scare. I returned from the MPC Gala in Edinburgh at the begining of May and developed a niggly pain in my right foot. I thought I had overdone it a bit at the Gala so didn't take much notice. However the pain got worse and eventually I had to go and see my Doctor. She thought I may have  a stress fracture and sent me for an X Ray to check. My X Ray showed a lesion on my toe joint that could not be identified. I was immediately referred to an Orthopaedic Oncologist. Then followed the worst two weeks of my life. As a nurse all of the worst case scenario's went through my head. Sometimes a little bit of k owledge is a bad thing. If I slept for 3 hours a night I was lucky. It was just hell. On Friday I finally went for my appointment. I am hugely relieved to say the specialist is certain the lesion is benign. I have to go for an MRI scan but he has no concerns. I do have a fracture which is ...
