New Paper Trimmer

I have been looking for a new paper trimmer for quite a while. The one I have is a Wescott Rotary Trimmer and is a very good one, however the blades are very expensive and proving quite fifficult to get hold of.

I would really like a cuterpillar Pro but they are very expensive. This one is available from Create and Craft but is very expensive. The good thing is you never need to buy another blade, but even so its a bit out of my price range.

Moving to ebay I found this one. It's the same machine, and brand new, just £65 cheaper. That seems like a bargain I can't miss so I have ordered it. It should arrive on Thursday or Friday.

I think what this shows is don't just go for the first thing you see.  Shop around and see if you can find a better bargain. I certainly did.

A Day in The Life of a Crafter

I have always had an interest in crafts and handmade items of all kinds, but I never considered myself to be very good. I set up an Instagram account first and I got some very nice comments about the things I had made. I thought it might be a good idea to share with you my typical crafty day. As you know I am at present a nurse, although I don't know how much longer I will be working. I'm hoping I can retire in the next couple of years. Anyway this is my crafty day when I am not at work. I wake up  roll out of bed and head downstairs for breakfast. I'm not a fan of huge breakfasts but I have to have something. After breakfast it's time to take Star out gonna walk. She loves her walk. After that it's back home and into The Craftroom. I spend some time finishing of a project  orcstarting a new one. I always seem to have more than one project on the go at once. At the minute I am working on some new items for a nature themed fair I am taking part in in April. I usually...
