A Visit to The Works

I had to go to town today so I popped into the works. I like to call in when I can and see what crafty bargains I can pick up.
There are 15 sheets in this pack of A4 Craft Card, and hasxa weight of 260gsm. Its a bargain at only £1. There were only 4 packs left on the shelf so I thought I better get them all.

This tub of iridescent glitter was also £1. I have had this before and its lovely fine glitter. An absolute must have bargain.

My final bargain of the day was this glitter ribbon. Each roll has 2 metres of ribbon on it and cost £1 per roll. These were the only colours available.

Now I have all of these crafty bargains I better get moving and make something with them.

Creative Christmas Crafting

Today's card is made using the Paper Pantry Vol X11 USB by Creative Crafting World. I used an 8x8 in card blank. I used a mat of gold mirri card which I cut to 7.75 by 7.75 ins and then glued it onto the front of the card. I chose two matching backing papers. These paper patterns are also reflected in the topper I chose. I chose the decorative paper first and cut it to 7.5x7.5 ins and glued it on top of the mirri card. Next I cut a piece of gold mirri card at 5.25x5.25 ins and glued it in the middle of the card. I cut the green paper at 5x5ins and glued it on top of the mirri card. The plain green paper is one of the coloured cards from the Collection. As it was just going into mats and layers I just printed it onto paper. I chose the topper and when I had cut it out I measured it and cut a piece of gold mirri card quarter of an inch bigger all around. Then I carefully glued them into the centre of the card. You could leave it at that but I wanted to add something extra. I had...

Making Videos

As you know I am busy getting content onto my YouTube Channel. I have made several videos over the last couple of weeks. I am not 100% comfortable with talking on videos. I am very aware of my very Geordie accent. I also get very nervous and feel like I am stumbling over my words, or in some places I feel there are awkward silences. I have tried making videos with no commentary in them, but they aren't right either. I am hoping I have found the solution to my problem. I have discovered this handy little app. It has enabled me to edit photos together and add text instructions to the pictures. I have been playing with it over the past couple of days, and so far I am impressed. I shall be adding videos made with this app soon. In the meantime if you would like to check out my YouTube Channel  you can find it here  Celticmoon Crafts YouTube Channel Until next time Happy Crafting
