Little Black Cat

I love Black Cats. I think I must have been a witch in a past life. I've had a few black cats in the past. Sadly in rescue homes black cats are the most difficult to remove because of the superstition surrounding them.



This little beauty is on a box I recently made. The pictures are of course the unmistakable artwork of Pollyanna Pickering, and from the Majestic Cats CDrom by Creative Crafting World.

I love the way the cat is completely lost in watching the butterfly. Pollyanna's artwork is so realistic and I can never get sick of using it. I feel I could almost lean over and tickle the cats ears.

Take Notice of Your Surroundings

 We tend to live in a bubble, only seeing what’s right in front of us, or focusing on things that relate to our interests. It’s easy to be unaware of your surroundings, but you might find some new friends if you just take notice of people around you. Your social circle is expanding as we speak, and it can be difficult to stay connected with everyone; however, all it takes is one person with whom you share something in common. A Day in The Life of a Crafter

I have always had an interest in crafts and handmade items of all kinds, but I never considered myself to be very good. I set up an Instagram account first and I got some very nice comments about the things I had made. I thought it might be a good idea to share with you my typical crafty day. As you know I am at present a nurse, although I don't know how much longer I will be working. I'm hoping I can retire in the next couple of years. Anyway this is my crafty day when I am not at work. I wake up  roll out of bed and head downstairs for breakfast. I'm not a fan of huge breakfasts but I have to have something. After breakfast it's time to take Star out gonna walk. She loves her walk.
