My Little Girl isn't so Little Anymore.

I cant believe that yesterday my Little girl was 33. How time flies. I'm on holiday this week so I went for a birthday lunch with Louise and her husband Kevin.

Louise loves sheep, and in particular she loves Shaun the sheep, so I had to make a Shaun birthday card for her.

I made an A5 card blank by folding a piece of white card in half. Then I glued a mat of black card in place. Thete is a half cm border around the mat.

Blue is Louise's favorite colour so next I added a blue mat, again with a 1/2 cm border.

A while back I got an Ardman usb from Create and Craft. I used it for this d3coupage of the flock doing what looks like a bit of a wobbly dancing act.

I then added a sentiment from a Paper Boutique usb. The card is then finished with some birthday themed peel offs.

I'm very happy to tell you she loved her card.

Christmas Mini Album Page 1

Today I have done the first page of my mini album. It's a simple gatefold page. I cut the page to 7.5x7.5 ins. The two side flaps are cut at 5.5x5.5 ins and scored at 1.5 ins on the short side. I stuck the flaps at each side of the page to form the gatefold. I chose complimentary papers in traditional Christmas colours from rhe Classic Christmas Collection by Hunkydory. I cut all of the papers .25 of an inch smaller than the pages and flaps to give a border all of the way round. If you are using magnet closures remember to place them before you add your decorative papers.
