Gothic Stories Paper Collection

I am a lover of all things goth. As an original 80s Goth that isn't really surprising. The love of Goth has never left me.

I have for a long time been looking for Goth Scrapbook Papers. Honestly they are just about impossible to get. The closest I have gotten is from Magik Graphics. No complaints because Sue's stuff is amazing.

Imagine my delight when I came across this paper collection on etsy 



No question about it I just ordered it. Well I am delighted to say it came today. I say paper collection its more like cardstock. The images are exactly what I want. I now need to think of what I'm going to do with them.





As well as the 12 x 12 Papers in the pack there was a sheet of rice paper. I know exactly what I am going to do with that  it's going to be the base for a Goth Canvas.

New Products

I have some new products I will be adding to my website this week. First up I have this beautiful metallic water colour set. 12 different colours with a fine brush and a Japanese Water Brush. These paints have a beautiful shimmering finish. This little mini album kit is great to pop into your handbag. Watch out as I am going to make a video showing how I decorated this album. This handy little wheel contains some very pretty little purls. They come in a selection of mixed colours and are perfect to add a bit of glam to your cards. Christmas Wreath Decoration.

I made this Wreath using files from a Carnation crafts Christmas usb. It was really easy to make. It comes with all of the mats and layers you need as well as all of the decoupage. There are 3 mat layers. I cut two base layers in black, a middle layer in gold and the top layer in black. I cut two base layers because I have put a ribbon loop at the top so you can hang the finished Wreath up. I simply held the ribbon in place with a piece of tape and then sandwiched it between the two black base layers. Then I added the gold layer and finally the black top layer. Next was the decoupage. I printed the decoupage onto 128gsm Navigator paper. This is my go to paper. The print quality is exellent. I get mine in bulk from amazon but if you have a Wilko nearby they sell it as well. I glued the base layer in place flat. Then I added the decoupage pieces using silicone glue. I shaped the pieces to give a better effect by just gently moulding the pieces with my fingers.
