Product Review- Hunkydory Construction Glue.

I first came across Hunkydory Construction Glue less than a year ago. I had heard a lot of rave reviews of this Glue, and when it wS on special offer on Create and Craft I got some to try. I was not disappointed.  I now use it for all of My Memory Books. It's give a quick, strong hold. I do all of my pride ting on 128gsm Navigator paper and u have never seen this Glue cause wrinkles in the paper. I made this box from layered greyboard to store my tarot cards. Again I used this amazing Glue and the box is used daily. This Hunkydory glue is pretty much the only Glue I use nowadays. I think the o ly time I use a different one is if I need a 3D glue. I highly recommend you try this glue. Until next time Happy Crafting.

SDX 1200

As you know ow I love my Scan and Cut. I have had a trusty CM900 for about 5 years now. In the last few months it has not been cutting properly. I have caries everything suggested, looked at hundreds of YouTube videos, but it just wasn't playing. It was my birthday on Thursday and I finally made the decision to treat myself to a new machine. I ordered the Scan and Cut sdx1200 from Highlight Crafts. I ordered it at lunchtime on Thursday and on Thursday evening recieved an email from Royal Mail to say it would be delivered on Friday. Unfortunately I was at work on Friday so had to arrange for it to be delivered on Saturday. It arrived on Saturday morning. I should have bought up long before now. Its a fantastic machine. It's do quiet. I think I could use it when Dave was in bed. I set it up on the livingroom floor to check it worked. Before I k ew it my first project was done.    I made this using a Paper Pantry usb. Next up I did this doily which is from another Paper Pantry usb...

Stunned by This

This is a totally non craft related post and relates to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. If this upsets you please leave now. I am appalled by the whole situation in Ukraine at the minute. Ukraine are no threat to anyone, they just want yo be a free and independent country. What is wrong with that and have we not all been in that situation at sometime in history. There are many horror stories surfacing at the minute, and today I was appalled to see Russian children arrested and detained for laying flowers at the Ukrainian Embassy. This is the link to the Sky News article  Russian Children Detained I'm goingcto leave it here so ypu can take a look of you want to. In the meantime I just want to say I stand with Ukrain and will give them all the support I can. We must stand together and support freedom for everyone.

The Advantages of Making Mini Albums

Mini albums are fun to make and also great to store small items such as pictures, cards and other memorabilia that you want to preserve without cluttering your home with bulky photo albums. If you love making mini albums as much as I do, it's only natural that you would want to continue making them in order to preserve all your precious memories from your life and from the lives of your loved ones; friends, family members and pets! Take Notice of Your Surroundings

We tend to live in a bubble, only seeing what’s right in front of us, or focusing on things that relate to our interests. It’s easy to be unaware of your surroundings, but you might find some new friends if you just take notice of people around you. Your social circle is expanding as we speak, and it can be difficult to stay connected with everyone; however, all it takes is one person with whom you share something in common. After talking with them for a few minutes, they could lead you toward someone else who shares an interest of yours. Before long, your social circle will expand exponentially. Take notice: it’s important! You never know who you could meet. You never know where life might take you. And you never know how many new friendships might come out of seemingly random encounters. Expand your horizons and make more connections by taking more notice today. Who knows where it could lead? Who knows who you’ll meet? And most importantly, who knows how many amazing things will hap...

5 Easy Steps to Organize Your Craftroom

My top tips for keeping your Craft room organised 1) Lay everything out where you can see it. 2) Make an Inventory List so you know exactly what ypu have got 3) Separate what ypu love from what you have room for 4) Reorganise your supplies in a way that works for you. Eg colour coded, size, company etc. 5) Get rid of things ypu don't need or are not going to use. Charities, schools etc will often take them off your hands. I hope that helps.                            Until next time                        Keep Crafting
