Mental Health

I have been taking anxiety medication for about three years now. Life suddenly got on top of me and I had a bit of a meltdown. My husband took me off to our GP who thought it was best to start me on some medication.

Over the past year I have been feeling much better and with the help and support of my GP I have been reducing the dose. Nine day's ago I took what I hoped was my last pill.

I was fine for the first five days, and then suddenly I wasn't. I had a couple of bouts of nausea. Then I started to feel dizzy and my balance was all over the place. I decided to stick with it and I would be fine.

Unfortunately this was not the case. This morning when I was coming down the stairs I took a bit of a tumble. I just fell down a couple of stairs. I was fine but did think I had better do something about it.

After speaking  to my GP she has prescribed me a tiny dose of Sertraline. I am going to take it every day for four weeks and then alternate days for four weeks.

Fingers crossed that I will soon be back to normal.

🤞🤞🤞🤞

Happy Crafting.
